Weight plate Review

You might be now thinking what is this all about, I want ab exercise equipment and not barbell weight!

Read on and think about it a bit. Is this then the ultimate piece of ab exercising equipment? I tend to think so. There simply aren't that many good ab exercise machines or equipments that could give you the same amount of resistance to your training than a heavy weight plate behind your head or against your chest. While it is similar in its use to the dumbbells the flatness and shape makes it much more comfortable to use. A big and heavy weight plate is much more comfortable to handle than a dumbbell.

So basically you get more resistance and challenge to any upper body lift type of ab exercise, like in the sit-ups or crunches. As the weight plates come bigger and you're abs get stronger the problem begins to be where you should put your feet to keep them on the ground. You either tuck under a sofa or a heavy desk where ever you can find support for your feet. At this point purchasing an ab exercise bench isn't either a bad idea. With the weight plate twisting sit-ups and other ab exercises that require different motions aren’t hard to do and the weight plate is more than well suited for different exercises. The main problem is that you need to buy different weight plates as there are no adjustable weight plates around.

If you are thinking about purchasing weight plates, you might think about those weight plates that have handles in them. The regular barbell weight plates are really good as well, but the handle versions are slightly better for doing ab exercising. If you go to gym, there you can find a variety of different weight plates for your exercising needs. Weight plates and ab exercise bench is a sure winner when compared to almost any ab exercise machine in the market if you are trying to get six pack abs.
