Ab Wheel Review
Ab Wheel is one of the simpler ab exercise equipments around, yet simplicity doesn't mean it is uneffective.
There are plenty of different sizes, colors and makers for ab wheels, so they must be selling these nice amounts. Basically the idea on ab wheel is that you grab the handles on the both sides of the wheel, go on your knees and put the wheel against the ground and let your upper body roll forward and then you are supposed to roll back up again. It is said to be very effective but is it really.
Many think that ab wheel is really effective piece of ab exercise equipment and this is true to some extent. If you don't have really strong abs, then doing ab wheel is most likely going to feel on your abs and you'll get that nice burning sensation. If your abs are in really bad condition, then it might even be impossible to get rolled back up. I would say an ab wheel is for those who aren't completely strangers to exercising and are looking for something more effective than doing hundreds of sit-ups. I can assure you, ab wheel definitely is much more effective than any basic sit-ups or similar ab exercises.
There are a couple of problems though, with the ab wheel is that you can do the motion in many different ways, it is hard to explain what I mean but the hardest workout and how I think it should be used is so that you keep your upper body tight throughout the roll down and up. This way you ensure that your ab muscles are keeping the upper body solidly in its form. So you got to make sure you keep your upper body in form while doing the rolling! The other problem is that when you start to be able to do 50 rolling repetitions in one set, you might to wonder is there any way you can get it more challenging and yes there is by allowing only your toes to touch the ground. This is the problem, it is really and I mean really hard exercise and for many almost impossible to do, this starts to require so much strength and body control in your body. If you can do it, it is really effective also.
So all in all, simple yet really effective, if you need a small ab exercise machine which you can put in to your closet after workout here it is. Ab wheel is a good solid and easy to use ab exercise machine to anyone who can do 30 sit-ups. I must warn you, at the beginning the wheel is going to make your abs get that nice burning sensation and fast! If you think your abs are not just yet ready for ab wheel, you can try Ab Slide.
